Our two choruses, Boise Gay Men’s Chorus and Boise Women’s Chorus, strive to spread a message of inclusion and acceptance for all of us — whatever our spiritual or political beliefs, gender, sexual identity or age — through the power of song. We ask singers to pay dues to help cover our operating costs. BGMC has now established itself as a well-known and respected arts organization with a strong presence in the Treasure Valley. The Boise Gay Men's Chorus entertains, informs and uplifts our audiences through song, uniting LGBT and straight communities of Idaho by embracing the better angels of our nature. Participation requires attendance at the Rainbeaus regular rehearsals, 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday evenings in Boise.
If you are invited to join the chorus, rehearsals are held 7 to 9 pm every Monday night during the season, and regular attendance is expected. Boise Gay Men's Chorus is a community music organization. The Boise Men's and Women's Choruses are a community organization, c3 entity. We admit singers with musical experience or those willing to work hard to learn their music. Both choruses are comprised of gay, straight, transgender, men and women of all ethnicity.

Help us by signing up for our email distribution list, attending events and performances, or join!. The group held its first concert in December at Cathedral of the Rockies. Practice aids, including part tracks for each vocal range, are available on our member portal, Chorus Connection. There are opportunities to volunteer at our events as well as take on leadership roles for those who have an interest and skills to share.
